In the playlist there are some songs with my name on them- Alan Greene.
These are recordings I made in my own meager little studio. I hope you enjoy them.

"Misc Clips" are short clips of some jazz/funk songs I arranged for my small combo- the "Jazz Dogs".
I played & over-dubbed all the trombone parts myself and synthesized the other instruments.

"Blue Monk" is an arrangement by Kay Winding & JJ Johnson off their album- "The Great Kay and JJ".
I created the backing track completely in digital and I play both Kay and JJ's parts on the cut.

"Heres That Rainy Day" is a Stan Kenton arrangement of the classic by Jimmy Van Heusen & Johnny Burke.
I actually used a midi file by GaryW0001 (@AOL.com) for reference.
It is a very good midi arrangement and he has many more.
You can check it out on his website at:

GaryW0001's Midi Homepage
I play all the trombones on the cut and sequenced the rhythm section.

"Sidewinder" is a Kai Winding arrangement of a classic old jazz tune.
I play all the trombones on the cut and either played or created(sequenced) the other instruments.

"NBHS Trombone Cheer" is my arrangement of a marching band cheer that the North Buncombe High School
band plays at their football games. I play all the trombones on this cut and sequenced the other instruments.
The Marching and Concert bands at North Buncombe High School are top notch award winning groups.

The title called "Em-N-Em" is a song from a play-along cd by
british trombonist Mark Nightingale. I play the lead trombone part on the cut.
Mark supplied his own very fine rhythm section.
The play-along cd and book is called "Multiplicity".
It grows, track by track, from a J&K style duet to a Tutti's Trombones octet.
It is an excellent book for advanced players. Check it out at:
